As a former magazine editor with a deep apprectiation of great photography, I am beyond thrilled that we, along with our partner Dodge-Chrome, are co-hosting an exhibit featuring the work of 29 of the region’s best architectural and fine-art photographers, Sep. 8-Oct. 21 here at the WDC.
To see this work up close and personal will be even more dazzling than merely flipping past it in a magazine.
More than 100 images will be on display for six weeks, featuring interior design, architecture, outdoor landscapes, and fine art photography. Dodge-Chrome, led by Theo Adamstein, is mounting the exhibit here, which will also include a display of innovative imaging techniques, which can turn the photography into “environmental interior decor.”
“Digital imagery has opened possibilities for designers that just a few years ago no one could have imagined,” says Adamstein, who owns Dodge-Chrome with Carol Ann Boyd and Ann Dominiski. “We have mastered the ability to print photography on acrylic, metal, wood, glass and other substrates.”
They can also print imagery on custom wallpaper or make it into larger-than-life murals.
These images are a small selection of what you will see at the exhibit.

The Art Of Imaging is an exhibit I must see. These photos are inspiring, witty and frame worthy.
I would love to showcase my beautiful work. Is there any way to do so for the next time?
Just send images to Theo Adamstein at http://www.dodgechrome.com, as we have been talking about turning this into an annual event.
Can’t wait to visit! Does a photographer have to be based in the DC area to be considered for next year’s show? (Assuming that there is one). Would you consider an architectural photographer based in Raleigh, NC who occasionally works in DC?
Of course — just submit the images to Dodge-Chrome at the site listed in my comment below.
